That’s why we have chosen not to stop at the bare minimum, often going beyond legal requirements and embracing rigorous standards that protect those who process our materials, those who use them in their own production, and, ultimately, those who wear them or experience them through a finished product.

Certifications: Not Just a Label, but a Method

When we talk about certifications, we are not talking about a logo on a technical data sheet, but about a working system that demands discipline, measurement, responsibility, and continuity—even when there is no external inspection.

It means that every choice—from the formulation of a compound to processing methods, from in-process checks to document management—is placed within a framework where every step has a reason and, above all, can be proven.

The difference between “saying” and “proving” lies in the ability to trace decisions, checks, parameters, and compliance—and to do so in a timely and clear way for those who, rightly, want certainty before attractive promises.

REACH: A European Baseline, Followed with Rigor

The first level—essential and non-negotiable—is full compliance with the European REACH Regulation (1907/2006), which defines fundamental criteria and obligations for the management of chemical substances and the protection of health and the environment. This is not a topic “only for specialists,” because REACH, in essence, concerns everyone: it sets rules to reduce risks linked to certain substances and to make the entire supply chain more transparent, from the producer to the market.

For us, complying with REACH means working with constant attention to compliance and safety, knowing that a reliable material cannot exist without a clear regulatory foundation and serious, ongoing, verifiable control.

Going Further: Voluntary SG-MARK Parameters

The choice that truly represents us, however, is going beyond: we also adopt the voluntary SG-MARK parameters, which set even stricter limits required only in some international markets for substances considered critical. This decision is not driven by obligation, but by a precise vision. If we can ensure stricter standards, we do—because we know that true quality is not measured by the minimum threshold, but by the ability to raise the bar without looking for shortcuts.

Among the monitored substances are, for example, PAHs, formaldehyde, formamide, and N,N-dimethylformamide: names that directly concern those who require safe materials, suitable for demanding markets, and consistent with a supply chain that aims to reduce exposure to potentially problematic components. In other words, we are not “adding a badge”—we are choosing a broader perimeter of responsibility, which translates into greater peace of mind for those who work with our products and for those who will ultimately use them.

ISO 9001: Quality as a System, Not an Exception

The Quality Management System certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 is not a simple list of best practices, but an organizational structure that makes quality measurable and repeatable.

ISO 9001 means processes are defined, controlled, and improved, and responsibilities are clear. It means we don’t “hope” one batch will match the previous one—we work to ensure it does, through established procedures and precise checks.

In a market where timelines, supplies, and expectations change quickly, having a certified management system is the most concrete way to guarantee continuity, reliability, and clarity—even when developing new formulations, new processing methods, or new solutions such as those aimed at sustainability.
